The winners of the Private Banker International London Awards 2021 are revealed!

The annual Private Banking & Wealth Management London awards are complete and 2021 brought a number of exciting winners. France in particular was a country with a strong showing. Patrick Brusnahan writes

ociété Générale and BNP Paribas took home two awards a piece. CA Indosuez Wealth Management also took home an award, Outstanding Private Bank for Diversity and Inclusion, new for this year, showing the strength of the French market at the moment.

HSBC, Santander, Barclays, and Standard Chartered were also amongst the winning banks.

In terms of vendors, Appway, Avaloq, and UBS Partner went home with trophies.


Outstanding Private Bank – UK  Domestic Clients

For achieving very high client satisfaction ratings and willingness to recommend which has led to strong growth in deposits, lending and income, all of which received high double digit increases over the year. In addition, talent stays at this winner as staff turnover is less than two percent.

A truly international bank present in 59 markets, with outstanding service in both Africa and the Middle East, keeping face-to-face meetings ongoing throughout a global pandemic where possible.

The winner this year heavily invested in personnel over 2021 and profit more than doubled, thanks in part to the investment bank, in the last quarter.

For designing, implementing and tracking across a comprehensive five-point diversity approach and achieving progress in key areas such as equal pay and more inclusion of women in key roles across the organisation. Last year, it even received the Fair-ON-Pay certification after implementing its Equal Opportunities Charter.
