Standard Chartered and Temenos extend securities partnership

tandard Chartered and banking software firm Temenos have extended their strategic partnership to support the bank’s financing and securities services offering.

The financing and securities services arm provides custody, clearing, fiduciary and fund services, securities lending and prime service to client segments that include insurance, asset management and sovereign wealth funds. It covers 22 markets in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The move will lead to new service offerings including automation throughout the investor servicing lifecycle, with higher levels of operational efficiency, freeing up operations teams from manual tasks. With Temenos’s technology stack, Standard Chartered can now offer future-ready services to clients, improve the client experience and tap the growing market opportunity as a leading alternatives administrator.
