Searchlight Capital Partners to purchase Gresham House
Gresham House, a manager of alternative investments with £8bn ($10.5bn) in assets, will be purchased by Searchlight Capital Partners for £469m. Gresham House and Bidco, a newly formed company created by funds advised by Searchlight, said that it had agreed to the terms of a proposed final cash offer for the company’s whole issued share capital. According to Investment Week, the purchase values Gresham House’s whole issued and outstanding share capital at approximately £469.8m on a basis of full dilution. Directors of Gresham House aim to urge shareholders to approve the purchase.

Pallas Capital Advisors has acquired a financial planning team, led by Damien DePeter and Michael McCarthy. Together, DePeter and McCarthy manage over $175m and bring over twenty years of industry experience to Pallas Capital, most recently at Mayflower Advisors.

CAPTRUST Financial Advisors has added Southern Wealth Management to its company. Southern Wealth Management (SWM) is based in San Antonio and also holds offices in Dallas and Midland, Texas, as well as New Orleans, Louisiana.
SWM manages more than $2.3bn in assets and specialises in meeting the needs of UHNW families with family office services. In addition, the team focuses on helping families through the labyrinth of options available to them, develop strategy, and implement financial plans.

Located in South Carolina, Golden Corner is a financial advisory firm that specialises in wealth management and retirement. In addition, the firm offers personalised services and educates clients on financial concepts and products. This includes investment, financial planning, and insurance.
