Wealth to grab headlines over the next year

Since even before the latest UK Budget, wealth has been a big topic of conversation with individuals. Banks are also set to exploit the opportunities wealth will bring in the near future.

HSBC is preparing to relaunch its Premier wealth management brand in the UK, targeting those with between £100,000 and £2m ($2.5m). This is according to Reuters which spoke to Jose Carvalho, HSBC UK’s head of wealth and personal banking. He told the publication that Premier will offer 24-hour customer service, financial planning tools and various benefits.

In addition, the bank is set to open a flagship wealth centre in London next year. The facility will complement its existing Private Banking office in Mayfair, offering both Premier and Private Banking clients access to a premium environment designed to deliver exceptional service and experiences. Offices are rapidly being opened. Barclays in Singapore, Charles Russell Speechley in Italy, Morgan Stanley in Southeast Asia. It is set to be a big 2025 for private banking and the wealth industry.
